REASON FOR LOSS:
Wreckage of a Spitfire IX 9G+S (NH 151) of 441 squadron R.C.A.F. at Dorpssteeg Holland.
Took-off from B/70 Deurne for patrol in Arnhem area, intercepted by JG26 and was hit by flak over the Nijmegen area of Holland. P/O McMillan attempted a forced landing but was sadly killed when the aircraft hit a gully.
